2024/25 Argentina Corn 19% Harvested

Showers in Argentina were fairly widespread last week with the heaviest amounts in western Buenos Aires, La Pampa, and Cordoba. The 6-15 day forecast looks cooler and dryer with the possibility of localized light frost in west-central Buenos Aires.
Corn in Argentina was 19.2% harvested late last week, which represents an advance of 5.6% for the week. In the core production area, the corn is 55% to 65% harvested with only a few percent harvested in southern Argentina and none harvested in far northern Argentina. The average corn yield thus far is 8,390 kg/ha or 133.4 bu/ac, which is up 2 bushels from the prior week.
